FAQS:

What’s the difference between Reiki and Access Bars?

Access Bars focuses on clearing mental clutter and limiting beliefs through specific points on the head. Reiki supports the body’s energy flow to promote relaxation and balance.

They work beautifully together but can also be experienced separately.

Do I need to believe in this for it to work?

No. You don’t have to “believe” in Reiki or Access Bars for your body to respond. Most people simply come in open to the experience—and that’s enough.

What does a session feel like?

Most people feel deeply relaxed—like a meditative or floaty state. Some notice warmth, light sensations, or a quieting of the mind. Others just feel calm and rested.

Will I feel something right away?

Many people notice a shift immediately—less mental noise, more calm, or better sleep that night. Others notice more subtle changes over the next few days.

Is this safe?

Yes. Both Reiki and Access Bars are gentle, non-invasive practices. You remain fully clothed and in control the entire time.

Do you touch me during the session?

Access Bars involves light touch on the head.
Reiki can be either light hands-on or completely hands-off, depending on your comfort level.

Can Reiki and Access Bars replace therapy or medical care?

No. These are complementary practices that support relaxation, awareness, and well-being. They work best alongside other forms of care like therapy, physical therapy, or medical treatment.

How many sessions do I need?

Some people feel a shift after one session, while others benefit most from a series. If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or dealing with long-term stress, multiple sessions tend to create deeper, more lasting change.

Can I combine Reiki with my Access Bars session?

Yes—and many clients love this combination. Reiki can help your body integrate the shifts from Access Bars and deepen the overall relaxation.

What should I wear or bring?

Wear comfortable clothing and come as you are. There’s nothing you need to prepare—this is your time to relax and receive.

What if I can’t relax?

You don’t have to try to relax—that’s the whole point. Your body does the work for you. Even people who say “I can’t shut my brain off” are often the ones who benefit the most.

What if I’m super stressed or emotional right now?

Then you’re exactly the kind of person this work is for. You don’t need to show up calm—you come as you are, and we create space from there.

What if I don’t “feel” anything?

That’s completely okay. Not everyone experiences noticeable sensations, but that doesn’t mean nothing is happening. Many people still notice benefits afterward like better sleep or a calmer mind.

Will this help with stress and anxiety?

Both Reiki and Access Bars are commonly used to support stress relief and relaxation. While results vary, many clients report feeling calmer, more grounded, and less overwhelmed.

Can I book Reiki on its own?

Yes. While Reiki is often added to an Access Bars session, it can absolutely be booked as a stand-alone service.

How will I feel after my session?

Most people leave feeling relaxed, lighter, and clearer. Some feel energized, others feel like taking a nap. Both are completely normal.

Is this religious or tied to a belief system?

No. Reiki and Access Bars are not tied to any religion. They are simple, gentle practices that support relaxation and awareness.

Is it worth it if I’ve “tried everything”?

Many clients come in feeling exactly like that. This work is different because it doesn’t rely on forcing change—it creates space for your body and mind to shift naturally.

FAQS: ENERGY FOR CHILDREN

Are Reiki and Access Bars safe for kids?

Yes. Both are extremely gentle, non-invasive, and safe for children of all ages.

How do children respond to sessions?

Kids often respond very quickly because they don’t overthink the process. Many become calm, relaxed, or even fall asleep during sessions.

What can this help children with?

Parents often seek sessions for support with:

  • anxiety or big emotions

  • trouble sleeping

  • difficulty focusing

  • overwhelm or transitions (school, routines, etc.)

Do children need a full session?

Not always. Children often benefit from shorter sessions, depending on their age and comfort level.

Do parents stay during the session?

Yes—parents are welcome to stay the entire time so the child feels safe and comfortable.

What if my child can’t sit still?

That’s completely okay. Sessions can be adjusted to meet your child where they are—there’s no expectation for them to be perfectly still.

Will my child understand what’s happening?

They don’t need to. Most kids simply experience it as a calming, restful time.

Can I book a session for myself and my child?

Yes—and many parents do. Supporting both you and your child can create a more balanced environment overall.
