Reiki is a gentle, energy-based practice that supports your body’s natural ability to relax, reset, and restore balance.

While you may not always be able to see what’s happening, many people leave a Reiki session feeling calmer, lighter, and more grounded—like something has shifted without needing to force it.

What is Reiki?

Reiki works with the body’s energy system—something we all have, whether we’re aware of it or not.

Think about WiFi.


You can’t see it, but you know it’s there because your phone, your laptop, your entire day depends on it working.

Reiki is similar.
It’s subtle, but powerful.

It works by supporting the flow of energy in the body, helping to release tension, calm the nervous system, and create space for the body to return to a more balanced state.

What can Reiki help with?

While everyone’s experience is different, Reiki is commonly used to support:

  • Stress and anxiety

  • Emotional overwhelm

  • Mental fatigue and burnout

  • Sleep and relaxation

  • Physical tension in the body

What to expect during a session

Reiki can be offered with a light hands-on approach or completely hands-off, depending on your comfort level.

During your session, you’ll be lying down fully clothed while I gently guide the session.

 

Most people experience:

  • deep relaxation

  • warmth or subtle sensations

  • quieting of the mind

  • a meditative, restful state

 

There is nothing you need to do.

 

This is a space where your body gets to receive.

A complement to other forms of care

Reiki works beautifully alongside other modalities such as:

  • Physical therapy

  • Counseling or talk therapy

  • Massage or bodywork

  • Access Bars and other energy practices

It doesn’t replace these services—it supports them by helping your body relax, regulate, and become more receptive to the work you’re already doing.

How Reiki is offered

Reiki is most often offered as an add-on to your Access Bars session, allowing for a deeper level of relaxation and integration.

 

However, it can also be booked as a stand-alone session for those who are specifically seeking Reiki support.

Reiki is increasingly being explored in hospitals and wellness settings as a supportive practice for relaxation and stress reduction.

Some studies have shown that Reiki may help:

  • Reduce stress and anxiety levels

  • Support relaxation and parasympathetic (rest-and-digest) response

  • Improve pain control in terminal patients

  • Improve overall sense of well-being

 

While Reiki is not a replacement for medical care, it is widely used as a complementary wellness practice.
